Dave Seaton

Dave has had a successful commercial career spanning over 40 years holding senior executive positions within the Oil & Gas service industry (Schlumberger), Security industry (ArmorGroup International) and latterly within the Support Services sector. Commencing his career as an accountant he rose through the ranks culminating in being appointed CFO and subsequently CEO of ArmorGroup International PLC taking the led in its MBO in 2003, its subsequent Main Listing IPO in 2004 on the LSE and finally its sale to G4S in March 2008.

Dave has extensive international experience gained while working for Schlumberger and later ArmorGroup International. He is known for both his commercial and people management skills while having a comprehensive appreciation for operational issues and their challenges.

During his time with ArmorGroup Dave saw the Group grow over 4x in size from circa $ 80m revenue to over $ 360m pa prior to its acquisition by G4S. That significant growth involved broad diversification both in terms of services provided and active operating territories achieved through a combination of acquisitions and organic growth. Dave led all acquisitions during his time with the Group and was instrumental in establishing operations in many new territories. Acquisitions included a Mine clearance business, a K & R consultancy, a specialist training business and several investigative businesses.

More recently Dave splits his time between Chairing several businesses, providing corporate finance advice, Chairing Horseback UK a charity supporting disabled military personnel and ad hoc support for several Startups.
