Ameroc is a provider of comprehensive Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and Explosives Safety Management (ESM) services to both defence and commercial clients worldwide.
Our services cover the full spectrum from consultancy through to the safe, compliant management and disposal of munitions and explosives.
Founded in 2023, Ameroc is a privately-owned company based in the UK and draws upon decades of experience in the sector by its founders.
Our services support national and international agencies, Government ministries, defence & security equipment manufacturers, commercial security companies, oil and gas industries, humanitarian organisations and charities.
We combine this with first class customer service and a relentless focus on the client.
We want to make the world a safer place.
Our work not only eliminates the immediate danger posed by ERW but also helps to restore confidence in affected areas.
By removing the threat of danger, minefields can be transformed into crop fields and playgrounds. Local communities can restore a normal way of life and hope can return to the area.
What we do
Our goal is to save lives by making the land and buildings contaminated by Explosive Remnants of War (ERW) safe for both residents and businesses thereby enabling commerce to thrive. We believe that this is essential for rebuilding communities and restoring livelihoods that are often forgotten after conflict has ended.
Every year, thousands of people are killed or injured by landmines and explosives. Innocent civilians, including children, are at risk of accidentally encountering dangerous weapons, ammunition, and explosives. Removing the risk of loss of innocent life is a critical part of achieving stability and restoring people’s confidence in returning home after conflict ends.
Making land safe and returning it to productive use
In war-torn countries, fear persists long after conflict has ended. People are unable to return home, fetch water, plant crops or return to work without risking their lives. Families struggle to sustain their income or work the land. The process of clearing ERW in cities, towns and villages is meticulous work, often done by hand. At Ameroc, we are committed to making land safe and restoring the normalcy of life for those living in affected areas.
